Join us for an important community training event: Stop the Bleed, presented by Perham Health and Perham EMS. This training is open to all community members—students, parents, teachers, farmers, and anyone interested in learning how to save lives in emergency situations.
In the aftermath of tragedies like the Sandy Hook shooting, it was revealed that many victims lost their lives due to excessive bleeding before emergency medical services could arrive. Similarly, during the Boston Marathon bombing, bystanders used makeshift tourniquets and clothing to control bleeding, saving lives in the process. This initiative focuses not only on active shooter situations but also on everyday emergencies, including car accidents and farm injuries.
Don’t miss this opportunity to empower yourself and your community with this hands-on training session. Together, we can learn how to respond to critical situations and potentially save lives.
Two sessions available: 4-5pm or 5-6pm
