Defensive Driving Class

According to Minnesota state law, people aged 55 and older who complete a state approved defensive driving course are eligible to receive a 10%, three-year discount on auto insurance. The class consists of lecture, videos, and discussions. There is no behind-the-wheel driving and there are no tests.
Topics range from defensive driving, current rules of the road, bad weather and information on the 4 impairments that drivers face. As well as managing the risks that are present on our roads.We also cover navigating newer and sometimes confusing road layouts such as roundabouts, J-Turns, DDI’s and the ever advancing technology of today’s vehicles.
AS OF JULY 1ST, 2024 THE 8-HOUR CLASS IS NO LONGER REQUIRED! ALL CLASSES ARE NOW 4 HOURS.
