The Bridge (formerly Perham food shelf) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a temporary food source in an environment of respect, caring and optimism.
Clients do a brief registration (about 5 minutes) then ‘shop’ by selecting the food most useful to them and/or their families.
The Mobile Pantry makes monthly stops in Richville, Ottertail, Vergas and Dent.
How it works: Drive up to the registration door of the mobile pantry. After registering, a volunteer will select some items for the client based on family size. The client will drive to the pick-up door where they will be given the opportunity to choose the dairy, meat, bakery and select canned goods. All the items will be placed on a cart to be retrieved by the client. Please share with family and friends.
