A Seasonal Christmas Market
Goose Group was excited about hosting a Christmas Market, but only needed employees for a short time since it’s a seasonal market. They were able to find a couple retirees that have previously worked in retail that were excited to get back in front of shoppers. Plus, they received a great discount at all Goose Group businesses!
A Shared Position
Janelle and Julie are the new Perham Living Activity Coordinators. They are both retired professionals that are now job sharing a position at Perham Living. They each work 32-hours bi-weekly, which equates to 1FTE.
A gig-Jill-of-all-Trades
Darla is a retired kindergarten teacher turned Jill-of-all trades. She loves to stay busy during retirement, working three different flexible scheduled jobs and spending a day/week with her grandchildren. Her gigs include working catering events for Spanky’s, being a barista at Otter Coffee in Vergas, and being on the cutting crew for Gobble Up Turkey. Darla loves the flexibility of working on her time at each of these very social gigs.
